Bulls 24–10 Dragons | Men's 13s Championship Final | Friday, 6 November 2026 | University of Ghana Rugby Stadium
Under the Friday Night Footy lights, with the 2026 season reaching its dramatic climax, the Bulls delivered a championship-winning statement, overpowering Dragons 24–10 to lift the Men's 13s Championship trophy at the University of Ghana Rugby Stadium.
It was a final worthy of the occasion. Two formidable sides, a fierce rivalry and a championship prize on the line. But when the dust settled, the Bulls had demonstrated why they remain one of Ghana's most formidable rugby league outfits, producing a devastating second-half performance to secure the title.
Dragons started with intent and drew first blood in the 27th minute through Rainn Sheriff Suleiman, who crossed the try line to give his side the opening advantage. Prince Chris Ebo Da-Gama Idan Odum was unable to convert, leaving Dragons with a 4–0 lead.
The first half ended with Dragons holding their advantage, but the Bulls returned from the break with renewed determination and an attacking intensity that would ultimately decide the championship.
The comeback began in the 43rd minute when Leslie Boadu crossed for the Bulls. Richard Browne Asare added the conversion a minute later to put the Bulls ahead 6–4.
Barely two minutes later, Browne Asare crossed for his first try of the final in the 46th minute and converted in the 47th, extending the Bulls' advantage to 12–4.
The Bulls were now firmly in control. Hakeem Inusah Sugri crossed in the 50th minute, with Browne Asare adding another successful conversion in the 51st minute to stretch the lead to 18–4.
Browne Asare was not finished. In the 58th minute, he crossed for his second try of the evening before converting in the 59th minute. The score was now 24–4, and the Bulls were closing in on the championship.
Dragons refused to surrender. Prince Chris Ebo Da-Gama Idan Odum crossed in the 63rd minute to register their second try. He followed it up with a successful conversion in the 64th minute, reducing the deficit to 24–10.
However, the Bulls remained composed, protected their advantage and saw out the contest to secure a deserved 24–10 victory and the 2026 Men's 13s Championship title.
